Scope of Practice
Tahseen al-Adaa provides bespoke services pertaining strategic planning and public policy making
to the government entities at central, ministerial, regional and provincial levels of authority. We also
offer insights and advice to international clients, on political stability, predictability of government
decisions, and the business enabling environment.
Our team of experienced international and local experts has assisted the Iraqi government in
developing policies and programs in such areas as industrial strategy and private sector development,
energy efficiency, trade facilitation, and agriculture. Members of the team have also assisted the
government’s central executive offices in setting business procedures for policy coordination across
the public administration.
Public Sector
- Our professional service package for public policy offered to the government includes the following:
- Business process reengineering, with a focus on decision making and policy coordination
procedures; - Assistance through the policy cycle, from formulation and producing policy brief, through the
implementation design, to quantitative and qualitative assessment; - Capacity building of relevant staff through training, coaching, and mentoring;
- Establishing the government performance monitoring and evaluation systems at various levels,
from sector to ministry, policy, and program.
Private Sector
The services we currently offer to local non-governmental and international inter-governmental,
public and private clients include the following:
- Produce policy analysis, both brief reports and substantial studies;
- Conduct political risk assessment and regular updates, at regional, country and sector level;
- Advise on strategic communications and advocacy, assist in preparing campaigns and events,
and build capacity of the client’s respective staff.
