Scope of Practice

We routinely offer a package of specialist services pertaining the Iraqi labor law and social security
law. We advise on legal requirements concerning both local nationals and expat workers of our
employer clients, as well as advise employees and their representatives, on the application of
effective legislation and the foreseen consequences of non-compliance.
Our dynamic team of social security experts has an extensive experience developing mechanisms for
applying the requirements of the law into internal policies and rules of client organizations.

Services

Currently we deliver the following services to our clients:

• Assist in designing the client organization’s internal policies that successfully integrate both the
  Iraqi labor law and social security law requirements;
• Advise on specific measures envisaged by legislative-regulatory framework, to secure the
  health, safety, and life of employees;
• Advise on devising internal policies and plans for creating safe and friendly working
  environment, including the development and setting of incentives measures and schemes;
• Deliver training to and conduct mentoring of the client’s administrative and human resource
  management staff;
• Provide regular updates on the changes and amendments to effective social security
  legislation.
